Adventure Camp

As a campus we believe that children are just as valuable as adults in the kingdom of God. Every summer for the last couple of years we’ve partnered with the local Lakeside Chapel and hosted a one week “Adventure Camp” here on our campus for all children ages 6-12. Our hope is that each child will leave with a greater revelation of how much God loves them and has a plan for their lives, that they would grow a hunger to know the Bible, and that they would learn to hear God’s voice for themselves.

Each day we spend time worshipping together, listening to fun interactive lessons and story times, playing games, and eating snacks. We’ve recently started to offer different interest tracks for the kids to choose from such as dance, art and adventure. Matthew 18:1-5 – “At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, ‘Who, then is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?’ He called a little child to Him and placed the child among them. And He said, ‘Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.'”
