Our Staff

YWAM Montana-Lakeside exists to know God and to make Him known! Just like Jesus called his disciples in Matthew 4:19 to “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men,” we live to join in the family business of fishing with the Master Fisherman as our main focus! We are a multi-generational, interdenominational, and international community of about 160 staff, 70 children, and several hundred trainees each year.

At YWAM Montana-Lakeside, you not only become a part of our staff to serve a particular ministry, but you also become part of the family. Everyone carries the image of Christ and plays a vital role in fulfilling the Great Commission. We operate in teams and value servant-leadership through collaboration and mutual submission. On any given day you will find groups of us working together to see God’s name be made famous on the earth, using the gifts God has given us.

We recognize and love the fact that we are far better together than we are apart. As followers of Jesus, we are called to be a generous people and not just with finances; as staff, we believe that God has blessed us so that we can be a blessing, and we look for opportunities to give ourselves away. We highly value the authority of Scripture, and we are not afraid to ask the hard questions and be relentless after truth. We also value creativity and the many different gifts that God has given us. From the beginning of this ministry, God has beckoned creative people to this place; He has called us to bring His God life to hurting and desperate people. You will find artists in every area of this ministry reflecting beauty and proclaiming truth. Being on staff with YWAM Montana-Lakeside is about doing whatever it takes to know God and make Him known, TOGETHER.
