Biblical Core Course – Summer

A BIBLICAL CORE COURSE AT YWAM MONTANA

Course Description.

The Biblical Core Course is offered in the Mountains of Montana near the shores of Flathead Lake. Explore the heart of God through His word this summer!

Prepare yourself to go into the world and share the love of God with others. 

Deepen your understanding of God and the Gospel by studying the entire Bible in 12 weeks through reading and inductive study. You will learn to hear the Word of God in its original context while discovering what the Word means in the often confusing context of today. Giving you the tools you need to effectively engage with the world around us.

Each weekend is a time to meditate and reflect on what you have learned. Giving you an opportunity to absorb God’s Word and hear His voice surrounded by the beauty of His creation. 

When you have completed your studies join us as we take the gospel to the nations. We will be taking what you have learned to the world that so desperately needs it with an optional 8 week outreach.

Lecture.

A student can expect about 9 hours of lecture per week as well as group discussion and one on one time with their staff. You will read the entire bible in historical order and in its proper literary and historical context. Giving you an immersive experience of the bible where you read and study the biblical stories in their proper order. You will also learn the inductive method of Bible study which will give you the tools to interpret the Bible according to what was written and intended by the author. Each week you will do a deep dive into one of the books of the bible as you read through the entire bible.

Outreach.

The heart of this school is to prepare you to share your faith with the world. Therefore an optional outreach for the Summer of the Bible course is planned to follow the lecture phase of the course. The outreach is an opportunity to put into practice all that you have learned through the 12 weeks of your lecture phase and share the love of Jesus cross culturally.

In a world without hope, the word of God brings us the best news ever. In the Summer of the Bible core course, we focus on the word of God which is the source of true hope. The word of God is an unchanging foundation in an ever-changing world. Knowing God’s word teaches us God’s heart, to know God is to know peace, purpose, and joy.
Ultimately our purpose is to know God and make Him known to a suffering world.
